WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DAY SPA AND MEDICAL SPA AND ARE ALL SPAS CREATED EQUAL?

IDENTITY Aesthetic Center is a TRUE MEDICAL SPA. Known as medspa, medi-spas, medical spa, blend the best of two worlds — a relaxing spa experience with the procedures and expertise found at a doctor’s office. Dr. Dallas Alvey, MD, DDS (licensed physician and dentist, which is rare) oversees the medical spa and is in charge of procedures that fall under the medical realm. We will ALWAYS have a licensed person that can practice medicine in the State of Texas in our office for your care. 

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DAY SPA AND MEDICAL SPA?

Medical aesthetic treatments go far beyond the mud baths, fruit peels and therapeutic massages found at most day spas. Treatments at many medical spas, health clinics offices are more intense and offer much more noticeable results.
Aesthetic medicine includes all procedures in the field of aesthetics except surgical procedures requiring an operating table and general anesthesia. Aesthetic procedures include dermal fillers such as Botox, Juvederm and Restylane, permanent hair reduction, acne treatments and many more.

WHAT ARE MEDICAL SPA POLICIES?

We ask that you consider our policies not as restrictions but as indispensable rules, which allow us to provide high standards of service. With regard to appointment cancellation fees, these are unfortunately necessary due to unavoidable expenses and valuable time allocated to clients and patients when they make the appointments.

HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

To make an appointment; please contact us directly by calling (713) Botox-ME or visiting us at 713botoxme.com. Upon scheduling your appointment, patients will be asked to use a credit card to guarantee the appointment during the busy season. You will not be charged a fee for your appointment except for HRT consult fees which are $99. A $25 fee will only be applied to your credit card should you cancel within less than 24 hours or fail to show up for your appointment.
We also recommend that you schedule future appointments in advance to ensure your preferred time is available as nights and Saturdays are the most requested times.

All booked appointments will be confirmed by our staff via a telephone call reminder or email a day or two before your appointment. Please provide us with a valid email address. Scheduling an appointment is your acceptance of these policies and we reserve the right to charge your credit card for time and expenses associated with missed appointments.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to prepare for your treatment and/or paperwork, consent forms, etc.  As we are a MEDICAL spa, we require new patients to fill out a brief medical history information and consent forms.
If you are scheduled for dermal fillers, laser treatments or special peels we recommend you arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your appointment time so that we can properly prepare your skin for the treatment.

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD DO PRIOR TO MY APPOINTMENT?

We ask that Laser Hair Removal patients come shaved before a treatment. It is recommended to shave the day before your appointment.

We also suggest that all patients receiving any of our facial treatments and consultation arrive without make up if possible. Read pre and post procedure guidelines.

WHAT IF I AM LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

Our scheduling is designed to permit the correct amount of time to complete your service. A late arrival will deprive you of precious treatment time. In fairness to others, your treatment must end on time so the next patient’s session can begin on time. If you are not able to be on time we will do our best to complete as much of your treatment as possible. With some treatments, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Should you need to cancel, please contact us 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. All cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will result in charges of $25. This courtesy enables us to compensate our employees for their time, and maintains a higher availability of our time for you as well as others. By scheduling an appointment, you are agreeing to our cancellation policy. Please advise us upon booking any laser hair removal or facial appointment.
No-show Patients who do not turn up for their treatment appointed time are also charged the $25 deposit fee. A major credit card will be needed to secure appointments. Gift cards are valid as a form of payment for no-show fees. This courtesy enables us to maintain a higher availability of our time for you as well as others. By scheduling an appointment, you are agreeing to our cancellation policy.

Gift cards are non-refundable.
